The Long Awaited Return

Ok, here we go. Life always seem to be able to surprise you. Yeah, thats how this blog is supposed to start. But its not true. Not really. Lets look at the word itself. Surprise. Surprise! There it is. Its a surprise. Something unexpected. Surprise party. Surprise gift. Surprise victory. Those are actual surprises. Life is not. Nothing really surprises me anymore. I got the shock of my life last month. Now that was a surprise. I'm sure I will be surprised again, but its going to be awhile. Thats not a complaint. I don't think I want any more surprises right now. Life is not all bad. Its really not. I am actually finally in a place in my life that I can say I am truly happy. I married my best friend. She loves me more than anything and I feel the same about her. We are planning a family. No big news on that front yet. We are very comfortable, money-wise. We have a dog that we love, and we have a cat. (Still trying to get some fish). Things are going very well in my life. Honestly, I sometimes think back to all the people who knew me even as short as 3 years ago. I know they could not begin to imagine what my life is like now. I hope someday they get bored online and they google my name, and they find this blog and read about it. Then I hope they contact me and we can catch up. Until next time...
