The Dark Knight

In anticipation of The Dark Knight being less than a month away, I thought I would just share with you some insight that I have had into this franchise as opposed to the previous one. I believe that these two quotes sum up the key differences in the two different series of Batman movies from my lifetime:


Previous Series:

Harvey Dent: "You have broken into our hideout. You have violated the sanctity of our lair. For this we should crush your bones into POWDER. However, you do pose a very interesting proposition: therefore, heads, we accept, and tails, we blow your damned head off!"

New Series:

Harvey Dent: "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villian."

If you feel that both lines of dialog are acceptable in a Batman movie, by the same character, no less, I damn you to 1000 back to back airings of Batman and Robin on TBS. If not, I'll see you at the midnight showing of The Dark Knight.
